Art on Lark 2009!
Art on Lark 2009: My collection of Lost Cities was again gracing the streets of Albany for Lark feist. We had a successful day. People enjoyed my wall of orange cities. A bunch of prints were sold to fans. They wanted a piece of the Cities for their homes too. I made many new friends and also made some new contacts for exciting future projects. My newborn son Chase attended for a little while too.

  Art on Lark 2008

June 21, 2008. Lark Street Albany NY.
The arts are important to the city of Albany. Lark street Bid hosts local artist in shows and exibitions around the city. Lark street is the heart of Albany. On 6/21/08, they closed down the street and letting the art out of the shops. Original art from artists covered the 10 block road. From Washington ave to Madison ave, there were painters, sculptures and musicians.

Lost Cities was the theme of this show. I brought the five large 2 x 4 foot Airbrush Cities and installed them on one wall. This wall of art was a crowd stopper. People commented that the had seen it from down the block and had to come by to see them up close.
People loved to hear about the idea behind Lost Cities and who BlamGraphics was all about. It was amazing talking to the crowds and describing themes, mediums, techique and style. There were many artists that stopped by to give a complement and comment.

I was fortunate to have a corner lot on Hamilton and Lark. This provided me with an expanse to show. When coming down the street, onlookers were rewarded with this view of Lost cities while crossing Hamilton street.
BlamGraphic was out in force. We were giving out business cards left and rigth as well as obtaining admirer's email addresses for notifications for future shows.

We had a great day for the event! It was sunny and a perfect tempurature. This brought out all the people in Albany NY.

Thomas was on hand to present the art to all that came in to view.

Many prints and a original watercolor was sold. It was a successful day!

The festival of the farmers market will be every Friday from 4-7 PM this summer. This created great exposure for me and my work.   "Pretty Girls and Robots" Show

The name of the painting is Lucy Eve. Lucy Eve is part human and part robot. Her symbiosis goes past the clunky tech world that we live in now but to a combination of human and robot in an intricate and graceful way.
Lucy Eve was inspired to be made for a show for the Upstate Artist Guild. The show was from May 12th through June 2nd 2006. It was held at the Upstate Artist Guild at 247 Lark Street Albany NY. Below are the pictures of the Gala with my picture on display

Here, I stand proudly next to my painting on display.
